Adventure Time! is a surreal animated Cartoon starring a twelve year old boy named Pen and his shape-shifting dog named Jake.

The story is about the dynamic duo residing in the Land of Ooo where together they go on perilous journeys while having fun.

The Pilot episode ran on Nickelodeon's Random! Cartoons. In this episode we see Pen and Jake rescuing Princess Bubblegum from the Ice King.

Recently, Cartoon Network has green-lighted the pilot so that it can become a series.

• In it, Pen's name has been changed to Finn.

• All the characters from the pilot have returned as well as newer ones such as Marceline the Vampire Queen and Lumpy Space Princess.

Overall, this series is fresh and original and one of the best of the more recent cartoons since Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I highly recommend seeing it.
