Another World

Studio Ghibli is famous for its animated films from Japan such as My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away.

Level-5 is an independent company that has franchise video games like Dark Cloud 2 and the Professor Layton series.

Now, Ghibli and Level-5 are working together on developing a new role-playing game called The Another World (Ni no Kuni). Ghibli's traditional animation style of animation and artwork is incorporated into the game.

The game's story involves a 13 year-0ld boy named Oliver who follows a spirit named Shizuku into a parallel world. Oliver's quest is to search for a way to bring his mother back to life.

The game can be played on the Nintendo DS and the PlayStation 3. It will arive in Japan this coming winter. No updates exist on when it'll come to the USA.
